Instagram. Periscope. Snapchat. Today’s generation is more connected than any other in the history of mankind – and yet, we are hard-pressed to find a generation that has been this disconnected to God. God has promised to pour out His Spirit on our children, and we believe this is the season and hour for a latter-rain outpouring!
Our challenge in the California-Nevada Church of God is clear: to connect today’s junior and senior high students to relationship with our Father in heaven, through the love of a Savior named Jesus, all in the power of the Holy Spirit.
We are passionate about inspiring this generation to be a Psalm 24:6 generation that seeks His face. We want the leaders of tomorrow’s church to become leaders of today’s church. Our movement so desperately needs this to be the generation that re-connects with the promise, purpose and power of the Holy Spirit.
With that in mind, the mission of every Winterfest service, every youth rally and every summer camp event is to accomplish the following three points of spiritual emphasis in all we do as One:
ENCOUNTER–Our students will have a genuine and transformative experience in the presence of God.
EQUIP–Our students will be trained and discipled to be Spirit-filled followers of Jesus Christ.
ENGAGE–Our students will interact with their generation in ministry using the gifts and calling of God on their lives in the power of the Holy Spirit.
